It's cold!

I don't know about you, but I think it is very cold today! When I lived in the US, I spent winters in deep snow and extremely cold temperatures. The coldest temperature I have seen was -30ºC! Do you know what that means? It means that when you go outside, if you don't wear a hat, your ears will freeze! It is sooooo cold that you feel like your ears and nose will break! That is cold! BUT, when you go inside your house, car, store, school, or workplace, everything is nice and warm, because there is a heating system. We only feel cold when we go outside! In Brazil, we don't have heating systems to warm up the house. We buy portable heaters, and are careful not to use it for too long or else the electric bill will be too high. :/ So, in Brazil, we have to suffer with the cold inside and outside. And for me, that is just horrible! I wish I had a nice and warm house, where I could wear a T-shirt and eat ice cream, even in the winter! Do you like cold weather? What is your favorite season? What is the minimum ºC you have felt? Would you like to feel -30ºC?

  2. Hello teacher!

Actually, i really like winter. More than summer. but really hate several cold and rainy days with no break. You just get tired of it and wants heat again.
But it is always like that: we're never happy. When we have too much cold, we want heat. When we have too much heat, we want cold again.

wow! -30ºC? how you can take it? it's too cold. Specially because here in brasil, we don't have a temperature smaller than 5ºc. That's something unbelievable!

-30ºC is really UNBEARABLE! hehe. But what you said is VERY true, we are never happy with what we have, and that goes for everything in life, unfortunately. I guess we need to learn to be happy and enjoy what we have, who we are, who we are with, and even what the weather is like!
